She pushed back on me so that I was now laying on the bed. I felt her hands begin to rub circles on my exposed hip bones. Normally I would have told her to stop, that we were going too far, but something inside of me told me to let her keep going, that now was the time.

I felt her lips touch mine and instantly felt a shock shoot up through me. It was the usual shock that I got whenever I kissed her. The shock that made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside knowing that she’s mine.

We made small talk through the whole meal; my parents constantly commenting on how fast I grew up and reminiscing about my childhood. I did my best to listen and try to recall some of the memories they mentioned, but my mind kept wandering off elsewhere like it normally did.

The smile that had been plastered to my face suddenly turned to worry and fear as I kept trying to run. It was no use though, I was getting no where. Suddenly then, I felt a crack under my feet. I look down and see the earth parting, right before my eyes.

I was raised on Disney Channel and pop music and fairy tales. The two characters always lived happily ever after. And I had always wanted that. Except I didn’t want it to ever end. And I knew, in my life, our love would never end.
